In Loving Memory Of Darcy
September 30, 1996 – September 19, 2006

Darcy, named after a favorite character, “Mr. Darcy,” in the classic story and book, “Pride and Prejudice,” was the reason we fell in love with Shetland Sheepdogs (Shelties). He was our first fur-kid when we got married, and he was the sweetest, most loyal sheltie with a very unique personality.

He loved to play hide-in-seek, following us around the house, taking car rides with the windows rolled down, barking at the phone whenever it would ring, napping on the stairs, taking long walks, belly rubs, and being brushed. He also loved posing for pictures. Whenever we pulled out our camera, he would literally pose and smile (as seen in his photo above).

When our son was born, he was fiercely protective and loving with him. The two of them were buddies, usually always side by side.

Darcy passed away from cancer in 2006. We’ll always love and miss our sweet boy.
